Hampton Renovation

This very reluctant client withstood a complete gut renovation in transforming their traditional 1930's weekend Hampton house into a more modern structure. With a secluded lot overlooking Georgica Pond and the ocean, and open floor plan was created by introducing sliding wood/frosted glass pocket doors which maximize views, daylight and spatial flow. Original details such as baseboards, window and door molding, were simplified to fit within the more modern interior vocabulary. In general, the original exterior design of the house remained intact for exception of the natural mahogany windows and doors and aluminum framed skylights.
